Wow, what a weekend

So, it was in fact a busy busy weekend. So here it all goes, I'll tell you all about it! Starting with Friday morning: We attending Luke Conrad's Funeral at 11am in Bellevue. Luke was one of Devin's best friends from High School. He suddenly passed on June 5th in his sleep from "natural" causes. The medical examer said that it's a medical mystery. It's very sad and he will be remembered. It was a beautiful memorial and very sad.

So we went back to work and then that night and then Devin went home and washed the vehicles and our friend Annalisa brought us over dinner, She is so kind, we love her! We enjoyed our dinner on the back porch, cleaned the house and went to bed.

Saturday morning we woke up and had our coffee and waited for Grandma and Grandpa Holmes to come visit us! The arrived and we have a pleasant visit with them for about an hour. They had to get on there way to visit the other family in the area. So after that we got to ride to Edmonds (which Traffic was Aweful and it took us 1 hour and 40 minutes to get there) to celebrate Grandmother Pottmeyer's birthday! She is visiting from South Carolina and we have had the pleasure to see here 2 times while she has been here. She is such a wonderful person and I just love talking to her! she's got a big 'ol house out there and a lot of property to go with it and a swimming pool. We are hoping that we can get out there to visit her sometime soon as she lives alone. It would be great fun. So... after the BBQ in Edmonds we raced home, got into the car and drive down to the store for a BBQ of our own. Our neighbors across the street moved to Kansas this morning and we wanted to have a little going away dinner for them with some of the other neighbors. So we got it done and it was a really good time. We will miss Brooks and Katie and there kids, they were such nice people and they were the fisrt ones to welcome us to the neighborhood. We wish them a safe journey out there.

Then Sunday morning, we got up, had our coffee again, and started the day with working in the yard. I put my bathing suit top on and some shorts and got all the lawn mowed and the flowers trimmed and weeds pulled. We also had Don our other neighbor over to meaure the motor stuff to see how much we have to boor out to get the engine back in working order. We got showed and clothed and made our way down to my dad's place to see him. We visited with him for 1/2 hour and made our way to Lance's. (Devin's parents were out of town watching Gregory graduate from college, so we didn't get to see them) We had dinner at Lance's that night, and then Kristene sliced her thumb open trying to open the umbrella, and had to go to the ER. So we all cleaned up, got the kids in bed and made our way home.

All in all it was a productive weekend and we got to visit with a ton of family. And, we got some sun! So I didn't get any pictures of the weekend, and I'm kicking myself for not, but Devin did get some pictures last night on the trampoline, (which by the way, he's band from).

Randoms..

Ok so this is going to be all over the place, I have a lot of little things to talk about and I dont' want to write a lot about each of them so here's the first one..... I have some the THE CUTEST kitties Ever!!! I mean look at little Mylee, she is getting so big and getting her coloring filling in and she is just the sweetest thing ever. Then there is Miya.... She has started climbing some trees. She's very advernturous but she always comes back when she is called!

I mean look, she is soo adorable!!!

Ok enough on that subject just because they are so cute! So we bought another addition to the house and the backyard. A TRAMBOBOLINE!!!! ok just a trampoline, but we had one growing up and when I say we, I mean me. I got one when I was like 7 or 8 and my best friend Mandy was a gymnast and she taught me how to do a ton of stuff on it. I never got hurt on it and I was pretty lucky. Minus the fact that I broke Chases arm on it when he was I think like 3, I've never gotten hurt!!! (-: Anywho, so we bought on and Devin and I jump on it everyday together! He tries to "bounce" me and I get out of it. He's so tall and lanky that some times he looks a little goofy, in fact I have a picture of his face while he was jumping, so post goofyness here:

And it even looks like Devin has some tricks under his sleeve.

Yeah, so we love it and we spend the time together everynight on it for at least 30 min. It's a good work out too! It only sucks when we stop jumping and lay down for a few minutes, then the mosquitos come out and try to attack us. I got bit a couple nights ago and they are monster size and ich bad. AHHHH... Anywho, so I think that I am done blogging now but I will leave you with a picture that my sister Amber took of us down while we were down at the beach in OR.

and here is one more that my sister Kristene took of us while we were at the mariners game back in April!
