Sad Day

So yesterday we went in for an Ultrasound to check the growth, and to much of our surprise, little baby Taytum was no longer with us. She wasn't moving, there was no heart beat, and there was no more blood flow between her and the placenta.
Saturday we are going in to start the inducing process, and on Monday morning at 7am we will check into Swedish Medical Center to go through the labor and delivery process. Once she is born her body will be released to a funeral home, that will do the cremation for us. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers so that everything on Monday may go as well as it can. We made it through 26 weeks of pregnancy, and now it's time to say good bye to her.

Quick little update

I just wanted to give a quick little update about the baby. I don't want to explain everything from the beginning but here's what's going on lately.

We started going to a new hospital (Sweedish Medical downtown Seattle) where the Doctors gave us different information then the ones that we have been seeing (at Valley Medical). This ultrasound shows that her brain is full and her heart is full, and her kidney's look fine. We then got an amnio done that day to find out if she has any syndromes on why she is so small. She was 4 weeks behind at that appt.
We saw an Echo Dr. a few days later that checked her heart. All her chambers are there, but she might have a possible hole between her bottom 2 chambers, and a possible blockage in her aeortic valve. We have another appt. with them sometime in June. If she is born with these problems she can get open heart surgery within a few days and that will fix the problems. The Dr. seemed very positive about her heart being just fine and being able to be fixed just fine.

AMNIO- came back Normal. They did 2 different tests on it. The first one was a fast track that was 98% accurate (which was normal) and the 2nd test came back on Tuesday and that was normal the rest of the 100%. So we are in the clear with her. There is nothing Wrong with the baby itself. They are thinking that it might have to do with my placenta. The last ultrasound that they did showed that it was abnormally bigger then what it should be. The blood flow looked fine going through the placenta to the baby.

So they haven't figured out anything with her size and why she is 4 weeks behind in growth, and there aren't really any other tests that they can do to figure it out. The plan for now is to just keep going check ups and ultrasounds every 3-4 weeks to watch her growth. Our next appt. is on next Thursday the 28th and we should know just a little bit more on her growth size. She isn't really kicking too much more lately, although I have felt her ONCE with my hand. Other then that she just mostly rolls and I can feel that pressure.
I appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers that have gone into her and her success so far. We are slightly hopeful now but aren't getting our hopes up too much. We still haven't bought much, just the absolute necessesities, the crib and the car seat.

Well that's all I got for now, things are looking slightly up.....
Here is the 24 week belly pic, it's still not too big:

And here we have her hand saying Hi to everyone!!!
