This one is for you Kelsey

So, this is the quilt in the background that I won at the holmes Family reunion. It was made by my cousin Kelsey, all hand made. She spent a lot of time and energy on it and I thought it was the cutest thing i have ever seen. So i had to have it, and now that I have it, I have it hanging on the couch in my living room, where, KELSEY...... it goes PERFECT with all the colors in my living room. the browns and tans and greens are all that are in that room. so now it's the center piece in the middle of the room. so thank you for making such a brilliant quilt. I truly do love it!!!

On another note, you may notice in this picture that I am wearing glasses. I have NEVER worn glasses before, not a day in my life. I finally realized that it was time to go in and see an eye doctor. It started about 2 months ago, I was seeing that it was getting a little harder to see the signs at night, and I just blamed it on devin and putting the HID lights in the cars. I didn't want to admit that I may have a problem. So I pushed it off and pushed it off. I finally gave in after my little brother chase went in to get his eyes checked. He had been complaining about his left eye being a little blurry, and thats the eye that I was complaining about too. So, his outcome.... he got glasses, a 20/40 in the left eye and a 20/25 in the right eye. oh man.... that means that the enevitable is going to happen, i am going to have to get some.

So I go into Costco at my appt. do the little before appt. tests and then wait. When it was my turn I went in and sat in the chair. After talking to the Dr. she was saying that she did see something off with my left eye. I then sat back in the chair and she asked me to cover one eye. so i covered my good eye and was looking with the left (bad) eye. she then put something up on the wall and said, "ok, what do you see". My response (after I sat there for a good 30 seconds, not quiet sure what to say) "Are thoes suppose to be numbers or letters?" I was then DOOMED from there on out. She could see that i definitely had a problem. So she did all her tests and it came down to it. I need glasses, not only do I need glasses, she said that I am only a few points away from being legally blind in my left eye. WOW, I didn't realize it was that bad. so the out come of my eyes, IM THE EXACT SAME AS CHASE. 20/40 in the left eye and 20/25 in the right eye, with astigmatism in the left eye. Stupid, stupid eyes. So I have a pair on order with costco and I went to Lens Crafters to get the pair for now. i can tell a huge difference, it's like night and day. I love how easily I can see things now. so i guess all in all it turned out to be a good thing, But now i feel like a nerd. (-;

You don't look like a nerd! You like like an attractive,smart,woman who wants to see what's going on around her.
Glad you're enjoying the quilt. It IS a beauty (just like you and Miss Kelsey:0)

Thanks Chelsey! The quilt really does look great in your living room. Now all you have to do is make sure puppy doesn't use it as a chew toy!

Also, I think your glasses look very cute. I actually considered getting glasses with non-prescription lenses because I really like black frame glasses. But I decided that would be kind of a lie since my eyesight was fine. However, I think I may need to go in for an appointment now because I can't read road signs like I used to.
