So I'm a big slacker.....

Wow, so I was just looking at how long it has been since I blogged. Well alot has happened since then. First off, we hit our 1 year mark in our house! It's official it's been 1 year of being a home owner! My favorite thing: I LOVE my kitchen the best. It's my favorite thing in the house. I love cooking in it, or just standing in it, or sitting at the bar. Doesn't matter, I LOVE IT. Devin and I redid the whole thing last November alone with our 4 hands and it's GREAT!

Second, Devin and I actually got to take a vacation. We got to go camping. We went to Bank's Lake which is over in Eastern Mountain by the Grand Coulee Dam. We went out there with My sister Kristene, her hubby Lance, there 3 kids, Lance's Brother Troy and there Mam Valerie. Highlights of that trip was the dust storm that got everything dirty, the constant wind (ok, thoes where sarcastic) the real highlights were Addies b-day, Lance Devin and I wakeboarding, and knee boarding. Some Pics:

Some of the Family sitting around at night

Nay Nay and me on the boat in the morning

Lance on the Knee Board tearing it up! the went

Devin on the Wakeboard showing off his "skills". He's actually really good! I enjoyed watching him!
Me on the wakeboard just trying to stay up. I did better on that then I did on the knee board.

Ok, so after we got back from camping we went out that night to get our new addition, our little puppy Maui. So here are a few pics when we got her.

This is her the morning after we got her when we were playing with her on our bed..

This is her Sleeping on her bed after playing for so long, look how small she is.

This is her again sleeping, AGAIN. She loves/loved to sleep, she was about 10 lbs. when we brought her home.

We got her at 7 weeks old and started training her right away. He started Puppy classes and she has been to 3 of them now. She's doing very well with Sit, Drop, Stay and leave it. We have a few problems with "come", she gets very distracted easily. The potty training is going well. We had only 3 poop accidents and a lot more potty ones. I think she's starting to get the potty thing though. When she needs to go out she kinda whines at the door. But that's not every time. It's better now though! So here are a few Updated pics on how big she's gotten.

She sleeps in the weirdest positions sometimes.

She's learning how to sit, trying to coax her with treats in my lap

This is her playing with Coozie which is our neighbor Melody's puppy who is just a little bit bigger then she is! It was very cute though.

This is her actaully sitting very well. She does it almost flawlessly. It's awesome. And since she is such a good puppy, she gets to sit in the front seat next to me on the way to work. That's right, she gets to go to work with me everyday. I never asked if I could bring her, but I did and she does so well. She sleeps most of the day, and plays and eats and whines when she needs to go out, and other then that, she is awesome! People like to come up to her and play with her at break times. IT's good for her!

Ugh, housebreaking. Housebreaking Lily is still on my list of hardest things I've ever done. I don't think I could do it again. (Lily is the American Eskimo that I had for 5 years. She's now in a child-free home because she can't handle the competition from children.)

Anyway, Maui is super-cute, and it sounds like you're doing all the right things.
